Digital Education
For almost a decade, we have built a sustainable educational environment for children in the Kibagare informal settlement, Nairobi Kenya.

No where is the digital divide more evident than in the most world’s urban slums. In these informal settlements, school children face front line difficulties of finding food, water, shelter, and basic care - let alone access to quality education.
St. Martin’s aims to change this for the students in Kibagare, providing an oasis from slum life. However, with its own limited resources, the school often struggled to provide the quality education that every student deserves.
Maintaining textbooks is nearly impossible in the environment where chalk alone is a much-appreciated commodity. And outside of school, none of the students have access to electricity and running water in their homes. Internet and e-learning systems are virtually non-existent which deepens the digital divide for the students.

If you would like to contribute to the development of technology-enabled learning at St. Martin’s, please consider sponsoring a student for $500 dollars a year which will ensure each student and their teachers continue to have access to modern technology.
